A Life Shaped by Food, Texture, and Gathering
Marit's work lives at the intersection of food, space, and style. Her sensibility was shaped first through textiles, beginning with her early career in trade, and later through 13 years on Martha's Vineyard, where she worked as a private chef, event stylist, space organizer, and trusted creative partner for private clients.
Her eye is drawn to the details that make a place feel soulful: fresh food gathered close to the season, well-loved linen, vintage French housewares, antique markets, quiet interiors, and the remote beaches of Aquinnah. These influences come together in gatherings and spaces that feel natural, generous, and deeply personal.
Guided by a generous heart, a discerning eye, and a curious mind, Marit brings warmth, refinement, and intention to every table she sets, every meal she prepares, and every space she touches.
